Taylor and Braden are two cool cats. Speaking of cats, I really loved how they made them a part of their wedding despite being multiple states away. The cat ears, the cat head cutouts, it was hilarious. This wedding was super fun for multiple reasons. Jay Leno was at the hotel where the girls were getting ready. We had a super cool indoor venue that was perfect during the frigid spring Illinois day. We took a trip to a record store called Kiss the Sky to buy a special record that was important to the bride and groom. We stopped at a brewery where they received a killer ovation. Taylor wore a pretty fierce leather jacket once it got cold. We took photos with smoke bombs outside. We took some cool portraits in front of some amazing wallpaper in the ladies room. And the party was super fun. Also donuts.
This was my first ever trip to Chicago and Illinois so I was really excited to explore. Some other highlights of this trip for me were going to a White Sox game that had like, 4 thousand attendees at the most and $1 hot dogs. Trying shake shack for the first time. And also hanging out with the craziest creative second shooter you could imagine in Brandi Potter. Seriously, some photos she took at this wedding were otherworldly.
