It’s no secret that these guys are my favorites. It had been well over a year since we last saw them at our own wedding but we were so fortunate that they could make it out for Thanksgiving this year. I still vividly remember driving home from Fort Collins on New Years Eve just over 5 years ago thinking that Pete wouldn’t be born until later the next day, only to get a call shortly after midnight that he had basically waited for Elissa and I to leave before making his way into the world. Now he is a very small man. Next thing you know he will be driving and beating me up. I’m pretty sure Katya is already smarter than I am now. Rumor has it that she reads college textbooks instead of goodnight stories.
Jason and Merrielle are still awesome. They run a business called Frutke that helps small business with IT, web presence, business coaching, and time travel. Well maybe not time travel yet, but I’m pretty sure it’s coming soon. They’re both two super awesome, super loving parents and really great friends. This is their family.
