The first wedding I ever shot was from an awesome couple from Lawrence that were getting married in Boulder, Colorado. In 2015 on a road trip to Omaha for a wedding I stopped in Kansas and loved it. It seems like half of the folks that I meet in Colorado are from Kansas and they are all awesome. It also seems like half of the bands I liked in the 2000s were from Lawrence. Since the moment I started shooting weddings I knew that I wanted to shoot in as many places as possible and Lawrence is one of the top spots on the list.
