It’s hard to think of a more beautiful place to get married than at the world famous Red Rocks in Morrison, Co. For the second wedding in a row the forecast was for ugly weather with a very high chance of rain, and for the second wedding in a row we somehow managed to avoid getting wet. We were blessed with some nice dramatic clouds in the sky followed by a brief period of nice sunshine right after the ceremony.
The Trading Post at Red Rocks was a really cool venue. The view from the lawn is absolutely stunning. I worried that there would be a lot of random people wandering in since the trading post was open most of the day but everything ended up feeling quite private.
Erica and Geoff were both so kind and gracious on their big day. There ceremony started a little prematurely and I had to run across the parking lot to find the bride. A minor hiccup that will make for a funny story. After the ceremony ended the party traveled via party bus to the Hotel Monaco downtown. The Hotel Monaco is a great wedding reception venue and the staff there was really great. It’s also an awesome place for the getting ready photos. There was so much color in the room!
Erica and Geoff are both wonderful people and I was so fortunate to get to take their wedding photos!
