So you can file this one in the it’s a small world category or the weird coincidences folder. So last fall I did the Bear Attack Themed Engagement Shoot with Heather and Noah and the response was pretty fantastic. At some point, Anna saw the post on facebook and thought that Noah beared a slight resembled to her fiance Lander. They checked out some of my other posts and contacted me and we got together and they hired me. What’s weird though is that both couples were getting married in the same super small, super old church in Longmont, Colorado. Also weird is that they had met Noah’s mother who happens to be the event coordinator for Ryssby Church.
Ryssby Church in Longmont is over 100 years old and is absolutely gorgeous. It doesn’t get much more vintage than that in Colorado. The window light in that place is amazing and the ceiling is an awesome blue color. I love this place and I was so happy to get to shoot two weddings in a row there. There’s just so much charm to this place.
Anna and Lander were both so gracious on their big day. I unfortunately had to shoot this wedding in a walking boot due to a broken foot and they were both super patient in letting me hobble around. I had a very difficult time narrowing down the photos to include in this post and it will probably be one of the longest I have ever made. Even with that said. you probably need to watch the slideshow, which still doesn’t even do it justice. Check it out here. I don’t think I will ever forget the look on Anna’s fathers face when he saw her in her dress for the first time. It was one of my favorite moments behind the camera.
